Develop a tram network connecting Hull’s outer estates, surrounding villages, coastal towns such as Hornsea and Withernsea, and potentially Barton and Humberside Airport. Routes would favour dedicated outer corridors to avoid congested main roads, with an elevated interchange tram stop above the railway station. Human-operated trams would be preferred, with automation as a future option.
